Marc Silverstein, MD received his bachelors degree
in biology from UCLA in 1981. He graduated Magna cum Laude,
Phi Beta Kappa, with departmental honors in biology. He graduated
from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1985. While in medical school,
he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha national honorary medical
society. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at UCLA
hospital, and then began his three-year dermatology residency at
Harbor/UCLA Medical Center. He served as chief resident during his
final year of training, and became board certified in dermatology
in 1989. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology,
and is past-president of the Sacramento Valley Dermatologic Society.
Dr Silverstein has been voted one of America's best doctors by his fellow physicians.
He is currently a Clinical Instructor at the UC Davis Department
of Dermatology, and has served as Chief of Dermatology at the Sutter Family
Practice Residency Program.
